  • Building a Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) by Phyllis Jones, Configuration Manager, ITT Exelis (PDF/PPT)

  • Phyllis High Jones is the Configuration Manager for the ADS-B project with ITT Exelis. ADS-B is a multi-year, multi-million dollar project designed to help the FAA realize their next generation of air tracking technology, more popularly known as NextGen. Ms. Jones has been with ITT Exelis since 2007. Prior to that she was employed with Northrop Grumman as a Configuration Manager supporting the Army iPERMS effort. She has also worked for SRA in the role as a Configuration Manager and also as a Network Administrator. In her early IT days, Ms. Jones supported the Office of the Secretary of the US Dept of Agriculture as one of the lead Network Administrators. Phyllis currently holds a certification in CMMi, a Bachelors in Business Administration and prior certification in Novell as a CNE. In addition to her IT background, Ms. Jones is also the proud Mom of three children, ages 15, 11 and 9; a cat and a turtle.
